This explains what I collect on bellebucket.com, why, and what you can do about it. Belle Bucket is run by me, Amy O'Neal, a sole proprietor in Utah. If you have a question this doesn't answer, just email me.
When you place an order, I collect your email, the items you type into your list, and whatever name you give me for the design (like a family name). If you sign up for emails, I collect your email, sometimes your first name, and which page you signed up from.
If you make an account, I collect your name, email, and a password (stored encrypted, I never see it), plus anything you save in your account: lists, trips, cards you track in the Points Room, journal notes. If you buy a guide, I keep a record of what you bought so it stays unlocked for you.
I don't collect or see your card number. Payment goes straight through Stripe, and Stripe handles that information, not me.
Like most websites, the site also collects basic usage data automatically: pages visited, device type, rough location from your IP address, and how you got here.
I don't sell your information. I don't hand your email to anyone to market their own stuff to you.
These companies hold or process your data on my behalf, and each has its own privacy policy for how they secure it. Webflow hosts the site. Order and list information passes through Formspree, the form service that lands orders in my inbox. Accounts, purchases, saved lists, and email signups are stored with Supabase. Payment runs through Stripe. Emails (freebies, receipts, proofs, the weekly email) are sent through Resend. Images are served by Cloudinary.
The site uses cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in, remember that you closed the signup popup, save your progress in the Points Room, and measure how the site is doing. It also runs the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and the Pinterest Tag, which record page visits and purchases so I can see whether my ads work and show ads to people who've been here before.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser; accounts and saved lists won't work without them. To opt out of Meta's ad tracking use your Facebook ad settings or optout.aboutads.info. To opt out of Pinterest's, use your Pinterest privacy settings. The site doesn't respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there's no agreed standard for them; the opt-outs above work instead.

Belle Bucket is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Credit card links in the Points Room may be referral links that earn me points or a bonus if you're approved. Clicking an affiliate link doesn't send me your personal information.
This site is for the grown-ups planning the lists, not for kids. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a kid gave me their info, email me and I'll delete it.
Want your email off the list? Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email me and I'll take you off. Want to know what I have on file for you, or want it deleted? Email me and I will, account and all. I keep purchase records as long as I'm required to for taxes.
Passwords are hashed, payments run through Stripe, and the site runs on HTTPS. No system is perfect, but I use real tools and I don't store what I don't need.
If I make a real change to how I collect or use information, I'll update the date at the top of this page. If it's a big change I'll say so in the weekly email.
