Real guides from a family that's been there The Guides. travel guides · roadschooling · curriculum · add-ons

Every guide here is built from roads we've driven and places we've been and things we've done with our own kids in the van. We kept the good stuff and cut everything else, because honestly, we live for this.

who makes these

Hi, I'm Amy. We just go.

We road trip the country in a big blue van with our kids and we school them out of it, and we're at 47 states and counting. That's the whole reason these exist. I kept planning trips off other people's blog posts and then getting there and going wait, that's closed, or that was a two hour detour for nothing, or nobody told me the good part was five miles back.

So every address and every meal and every stay in these is somewhere I've stood with my own kids in the car. If something wasn't worth it I say so. If a trail slid into the ocean back in April I'll tell you that too, because I would want somebody to tell me.
